About Christopher

I’m signing on from Mankato, Minnesota, most remembered from the Little House on the Prairie books by Laura Ingles Wilder. It’s a small family orientated community about 90 miles south of the Twin Cities. On most people’s minds here is the ever changing weather and seasons. It can be as cold as -30F in winter and as hot as 100F in the summer. It sure keeps things interesting!

I teach some undergraduate video production courses and am the executive producer for several student run broadcasts including a weekly political show, Between the Lines and NCAA division one men’s hockey.

I’ve a strong production background, primarily in shooting and editing. As far as design software and tools, I know my way around Photoshop, but that’s about it. Illustrator I have never used. I am much looking forward to the diverse design discussions we will engage in. Having professor Kain for Foundations of Media Design I was very excited to continue discussing good design practice.

I look forward to some great idea sharing through this blog and online gallery that will serve as a place to showcase and discuss my work at the New School. It’s such a great idea to require us to engage with this type of discussion technology.
